We are seeking outdoor-oriented sessions for both formal and non-formal teachers, with topics ranging from Pre-K through adulthood. This is a "no screens” conference. All sessions must be able to be held completely outdoors. Workshops will be held rain or shine. Morning sessions are 75 minutes and afternoon sessions are 60 minutes. We will be accepting about 28-30 workshop proposals. Each presentation can expect 20-30 people to attend their workshop. ANJEE conference participants typically include classroom teachers, park interpreters, environmental education specialists, non-profit administrators, youth leaders, environmental advocates and others who believe that education and environmental literacy are keys to a thriving world.

Thank you to North American Association of Environmental Education, NAAEE, for use of their 2025 conference theme.

Priority will be given to workshops that center around the four threads below:

1.  Conservation and Environmental Education
Achieving conservation goals through education, communication, social marketing, and ecotourism strategies, including public participation in scientific research and place-based community action

2.  Connecting with Nature
Cultivating partnerships and providing accessible outdoor education experiences that connect people of all ages and backgrounds to nature and foster a sense of stewardship

3.  Educating for a Changing Climate
Highlighting innovative approaches and best practices that help learners of all ages understand climate impacts and solutions and overcome barriers to spur effective action

4.  Building Leadership in Environmental Education
Strategies for building leadership and infrastructure to advance EE at the state, provincial, national, and global levels, and for preparing and motivating the public to take informed actions to protect the environment and address social and economic disparities

If you would like to present a workshop, please complete the proposal below and submit. If you know of anyone else who would be a valuable presenter, please feel free to share this form.

All presenters will pay a reduced fee to attend the conference and present.
